Ballroom

It started in the living room, where I tried to copy a dance move I saw when I was 9 years old. So beside making music, I became a dance teacher for ballroom dance. Generally interested in solid teaching methods beside ADTV and what I learned in danceschools, my journey led me to Berlin, where I learned from the wonderful teacher Stefi Schmid who educated me as a dance pedagogue for children. Dancing in different styles, moving the body using different techniques and connecting with a dance partner and the music, teaching couples, actor students, children, wedding couples, dancing on all kinds of music is art, passion, creativity and soul. Improvising and composing in dance is not as far as it is in music and jazz. That’s why my favorite dance is probably tango.
